The Centro
Cultural Virgen del Carmen in Torrevieja is a multifunctional modern art space,
where a wide variety of cultural activities are undertaken in many disciplines.
Designed by architects Centro Cultural Virgen del Carmen in Torrevieja, the
building is a vanguard cultural space, designed with a crisp modern edge and a
functional ideal with a number of different spaces, both inside and out which
can be used for a wide variety of purposes.
The
centre is a well-used venue for exhibitions, conferences, cultural musical or
theatrical performances and workshops, with an exhibition room and an
auditorio seating 320.
There
is a cafeteria atea and oen study area, decorated with a striking nural.
The centre is also used for postgraduate and masters studies by the Universidad
Miguel Hernández.
There is an
underground car park right next to the centre, with a height limit of 2 metres
10 cm and plenty of good tapas bars close by for refreshments

Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9.30pm
Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 9pm
